Cats
It would be our privilege to help you with your cat's health. We appreciate you choosing us for this lifelong commitment.
By far the most valuable service we provide for your cat is an annual examination. Cats are notoriously good at masking pain and illness. We can determine a wealth of information about your cat's overall health during your visit with us. The wellness exam is also an opportunity for you to discuss with us any health or behavioral concerns you might have.
Noteworthy, cats are considered geriatric at 7 years old (even though some cats may live until their late teens and sometimes even their 20s!) Major internal changes can begin at this time even though your cat might not seem particularly old. Small weight changes can signify a large scale problem in cats because they are small to begin with. Other subtle signs of problems can include simple changes like drinking more water than normal or eating more voraciously than usual. We will be happy to discuss any changes you are seeing at home to determine their significance with regards to your cat's overall health.
